Skinny Scarves and Quilt Show Goodies

My friend Karen Miller made me a gorgeous "Skinny Scarf."

You can read all about the "Skinny Scarf" in April's edition of "The Quilt Life"  You can find the article on page 40.  Wendy Hill is the creator and author of the skinny scarf.

While at the quilt show in Henderson, Nevada I bought some yummy items.  I bought my first batiks, my first hand-dyed fabric and my first spools of Aurifil thread.  I love how the hand-dyed fabric looks.

I also bought Paula Reid's Bat Scooters.  I'm looking forward to trying them out and I will let you know what I think.  Do you see that wonderful dragon fly fabric?  It has a gradation from light blue to the dark blue with the dragonflies.  I'm going to make a wall hanging that represents Azure Moon Design.  It would also make a beautiful skirt.  Oh the possibilities...
Have a wonderful quilty week!!

You look lovely in your skinny scarf Jenice...I knew you would. Let me know how you like Paula Reids batty scooters....I have a pair of her original design and if I could find them (messy me) I would love to use them again. It's nice to see your Henderson purchases again....love them that day and love them again tonight! Anxious to see what you do with the Dragon fly fabric.
